She was treated to trips to Dubai, Aruba, Bermuda, Cancun, Jamaica, Cabo San Lucas, Paris and Punta Cana as well as the places in the USA such as Las Vegas, Myrtle Beach, Chicago, New York, Washington, Key West, Atlanta and even Niagra Falls. Her dream was to go to Los Angeles and Beverly Hills for a shot at Hollywood stardom. She wanted to go to the Ivy and see Brittany Spears, Lindsay Lohan, Hillary Duff, and Paris Hilton. In her first home the view was not spectacular but it did have access to the paramount, warner and nbc studios where she hoped to one day be on tv like her favorites Oprah, Regis and Kelly, Ellen Degeneres, and maybe even Dr. Phil. She did make it to Tyra Banks show as a guest. She would do endless auditions, playing cross word puzzles and solitaire while waiting to model or do a screen test. Good thing for mapquest and gps. She carried a suitcase filled with mini skirts, dresses, bikini swimsuits, high heels , boots, cocktail dresses and hats so she would always be prepared. She would audition from sunup to twilight and got enough roles to be on IMDB, though she never was on TMZ. At home she would enjoy CNN or a good video game of football, baseball, watch NASCAR or even play Guitar Hero. It is all paying off because Stella Stewart is the most popular celeb on Youtube who has NEVER been featured. She is currently signed for two pilots this season, and two films, one just after the next chinese new year. You can download some of her videos on your iphone, or view her flickr on your blackberry storm. You can write her on her web site, or try to find her on white pages, yellow pages or google her. look for her driving around town in her mustang gt or mercedes (though she may get the new camaro or challenger). Watch for her at the circus, the mall or taking in a local high school musical production. Pixote: a Lei do Mais Fraco (English: Pixote: The Law of the Weakest), (1981) is a Brazilian drama film directed by Hector Babenco. The screenplay was written by Babenco and Jorge Durán, based on the book A infância dos mortos (The Childhood of the Dead Ones) by José Louzeiro.[1]
It is the chilling, documentary-like account of Brazil’s delinquent youth and how they are used by corrupt police and other crime organizations to commit crimes.
The film features Fernando Ramos Da Silva (who was killed at the age of 19 by Brazilian police in São Paulo) as Pixote and Marília Pêra as Sueli.
The plot revolves around Pixote, a young boy who is used as a child criminal in muggings and drug transport.

Gary Redente didnt always plan on becoming a lawyer. Before completing his undergraduate studies at Hunter College and going on to Boston University School of Law, he spent many years as a professional musician.

I went back to school because I wanted to better my life, he says. I started teaching at BMCC to help others better their lives.

Redente is an attorney specializing in entertainment, intellectual property and business law at the New York City firm of Cowan, DeBaets, Abrahams & Sheppard.

He is also the lead instructor in BMCCs Paralegal Studies Program, offered by the Center for Continuing Education and Workforce Development. The 78-hour, 15-week course provides both paralegal newcomers and veterans with a solid grounding in an exciting and important field.

A choice of schedules
The course focuses on substantive areas of law, such as torts, criminal law, business law and intellectual property law, as well as federal and state court procedure and the day-to-day skills needed to be a paralegal, says Redente. Perhaps what is most attractive about the program is that we cover it all in a single semester.

Both Sunday and weekday sessions are offered. The former meets for 6½ hours each Sunday for 15 weeks; the latter consists of two weeknight sessions over the same period. The schedule is demanding but students dont have to give up five years of their life for it, Redente says.

After completing his own law studies, Redente worked as an Assistant District Attorney in New York for a year before moving to the private sector as a litigator with a major law firm. He later leveraged his business and entertainment industry experience to establish his own firm before accepting his current position with Cowan DeBaets.

A varied background
Having worked in some many different legal environments—major firm, small firm, solo practice, public sector—Redente is able to address the full range of skills and challenges associated with various areas of the paralegal profession.

Students are able to gain a tremendous range of knowledge in a very short time, he says. Whether they opt for the Sunday or weeknight sessions, they come away with the skills they need to compete in the job market.

The students who enroll in Redentes course range from people first entering the workforce to individuals hoping to make a career change either for financial reasons or a greater sense of fulfillment, says Redente. Weve also had a number of paralegals looking to enhance their professional skills.

He recalls one student who had been in the field for nine years. Midway through the course, he says, she told me she finally understood the reasons behind some of the tasks shed been handling all the years on a daily basis.
